I Read 16 Books in July 2026

It has been a busy July for sure! I read some wonderful books. By scanning my Notion digital library, it looks like I had only 2 Five-Star reads but 6 Four-Star books. A few One and Two-Star reads were thrown in there too.

I really have a hard time rating books because I don’t want to give too many 5-stars, but I also don’t want to do too many 3-star ratings. Also, my ratings are usually not based on the writing or narration itself, but the story and characters and how they affect me personally.

Yesteryear was super popular and got tons of 5-star reviews; but, to me, the whole content-creator/trad wife subject matter is so far away from what interests me, I didn’t enjoy it. I finished it because I didn’t want to DNF.

My Notion digital library shows me I have read over 90 books, which is over 1015 hours of audiobooks and 32,000+ pages. I’ve read books from 1945 through 2026 since April 2026. I love looking at this info and it means more to me than bookshelves of real trophy books.
